Wintertime at the cabin

A snowy stay

At 7,000 feet above sea level, and with an average annual snowfall of over 100 inches, Flagstaff is one of the snowiest cities in the U.S.

Below you can find a link to the US National Weather Facebook page for the most up to date information on upcoming weather.

Sledding

Sledding is a common activity in town and there are designated areas throughout the city for this.

Kachina Village which is our neighborhood has a very popular sledding hill as you are driving in after the curve when you pass Dollar General. Please keep in mind that there is no parking on the sides of streets, there are officers who heavily patrol the area and will give out tickets. There is a children's park next to the Dollar General and both of these places have free parking.

Flagstaff Snow Park

A little over 5 minutes up the highway is Flagstaff Snow Park. Groomed snow tubing runs. Snow tubes are provided. Food trucks, picnic tables, fire pits!

Check conditions on their website and tickets also have to be purchased online before you can access it!
